Halloween and Brandy came to Visit

I once again was able to have fun with my life size Barbie. I spend an hour or two on Brandy's hair and Make-up for Halloween.
Devin kind of scared Alli the first time he put on this mask. He is "V" from "V for Vendetta".

Such a spirited group. This was taken about 20 seconds before I had a violent attack of the stomach flu! I couldn't resist being a cow (since I kind of feel like a cow with the nursing thing). Isn't Alli a cute calf?!

When Brandy and I went to buy pumpkins to carve for my company pumpkin carving contest...we couldn't find any pumpkins at first. We did end up finding the little pumpkin you can see in the photo. So, Brandy had the bright idea to crave a pineapple (which we named Wilson) and a squash. The squash is carved like a wannabee pumpkin. We had a good time. Alli did eventually knock over the pineapple spilling wax all over the place. :)

I love Aunt Brandy!

Alli with her Fairy Godmother.

While Brandy was visiting she was able to vote at the poles for the very first time. Being in the military makes her have to vote with a mail in ballot most of the time.
All in all it was a great time while Brandy was here. The only bad part was when I came down with the stomach flu the night before Halloween. I was down and out that night and most of the next day, so we ended up just hanging out at the house and watching movies. We wish we could see her more often!

So many firsts!

Allison experienced her first snow fall on Monday. We put her in her snowsuit and let her sit in the snow. She promptly fell forward and got a face full of snow! She didn't cry, but she was very shocked!
Alli started eating about three weeks ago. We started on rice cereal, but now she eats squash, bananas, and green beans. She has two big chompers in there and is LOVING using them!

Ahh the pony tail. If I don't put her hair up, her hair gets in her eyes all day long. :)

I told Devin I needed a dose of smiling Alli, and this is the picture he sent. She makes me smile every time!
Just cute!
